AUSTIN— Attorney General Ken Paxton today intervened in a property tax lawsuit against Dumas Independent School District, stating that the district violated state law and the Texas Constitution when it reduced the district’s local option homestead exemption. Saturday, August 12th Sisterdale Volunteer Fire Department is hosting their annual BBQ and Live Music Dance.  Our fundraiser is designed with our community in mind, with the event offering a chance for our neighbors to gather in support of our volunteer fire department for food and fun, giving, winning and dancing.
