Football Runs Over Ozona, Wins District Title Again

The Mason High School varsity football team used its potent rushing attack all game on Friday, Nov. 5, during the Punchers’ 52-22 blowout victory at home against the Ozona High School Lions on Senior Night to win the 2A-1 District 14 championship outright. On the very first play from scrimmage on offense for the Punchers, junior quarterback Ivan Wofford connected with wide-open sophomore tight end Wyatt Row for a big gain that got Mason deep into Lions’ territory.
