Join us for an outdoor evening of food, music, drinks, and fun to include three extraordinary auction items. Are you up for a first-class Louisiana duck hunt? The event starts at 5:30pm and tickets are $50. Proceeds will go towards outdoor repair and painting of the historic Seaquist House. The moment you arrive you’ll realize the magnitude and expense of this project.
Here’s what you will see. The floors on the first floor are refinished thanks to Coach Floors. Marco Berreles, along with Ironton Forge, has restored and secured the portico columns. Marco repaired the column damage and Ironton Forge created and installed period-appropriate straps to strengthen the columns. The kitchen is expected to be installed by the end of August and we are planning to bring the upstairs bar down to the first floor. Additional planters will be installed prior to the event for safety reasons. Continued renovation is necessary to create an enjoyable space for those who want to rent one room, one floor, the entire house and/or outside area. Gerry Gamel ([email protected]) is managing rentals.
Join us September 18th. Fiesta!
If you can’t join us but want to help us continue our renovation projects, please send tax-deductible donations to The Seaquist House Foundation, PO Box 1496, Mason, TX 76856. We are grateful to everyone who has supported the house renovation over the years.
