14 Players State Bound for Mason Tennis
Participating in the Region IV tennis tournament in Corpus Christi were: (L-R) Coach Salah Eckert, Bailan Kerr, Jack Gillespie, Robert Aguero, Lucas Culver, Mason Hatfield, Lucy Rochat, Kylie Cockerham, Parker Standard, Reagan Norman, Sterling Smith, Jakelin Zermeno, Chainey Weitz, Makenna Palacio, Tate Spencer, Matthew Kerr, Jerry Zermeno, Tyler Schmidt, Katy Rhea Tedder, Kyleigh Ake and Coach Cade Smith.
It was a windy few days in Corpus Christi during the Region IV tennis tournament last week, but the Punchers and Cowgirls prevailed to win 1st and 2nd in four of the five divisions and will represent Region IV in 14 of the 16 available spots at the State tennis tournament in San Antonio on May 20-21.
