The Mason High School varsity baseball team won both District 29-2A games it played the past week as the Punchers defeated Johnson City High School and Harper High School. MASON PUNCHERS 4, JOHNSON CITY EAGLES 3 In perhaps the biggest victory for the Punchers during the 2021 season, they avenged their lopsided 16-5 loss on March 23 to the Eagles as Mason went on the road to Johnson City on April 13 and held on for a crucial 4-3 win. The Punchers would end up striking first on offense.
