A Piece of History
Hugo Reichenau was a blacksmith in Mason, Texas whose shop stood on the Northwest corner of the square. 112 years ago, Mr. Reichenau watched as the most recent version of the courthouse was being built. Born on March 26, 1882; Hugo was about 27 when he would walk over to the construction site to chat with the carpenters and builders working there.
