Historic Mason County Courthouse Destroyed by Fire

Late in the evening of February 4, 2021, the historic Mason County Courthouse caught on fire. Emergency responders from Mason and surrounding communities responded to the blaze. By 1:00 A.M., February 5, firefighters had the fire mostly contained and were only attending to a few hot spots left in the structure. No official statement has been released regarding the cause of the fire. This is a developing story.
