LCRA, City of Mason Award $25,000 Grant for Repairs to Historic Seaquist House
New roof, gutter system will help protect 19th-century mansion
MASON, Texas – The Seaquist House Foundation will repair and replace the roof and gutter system on the historic Seaquist House, a unique 19th-century Hill Country landmark, thanks to a $25,000 grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority and the City of Mason. The grant, along with $63,650 in matching funds, will help improve the physical integrity of the house and move the foundation closer to being able to open the house to the public.
