Cowgirls’ XC Edges San Saba at District Meet, Qualifies for Regionals
The 2020 Mason High School girls’ varsity cross country squad continued a stellar season on Monday, Oct. 19 when the Cowgirls took part in the District 29-2A cross country meet held at San Saba River Golf Course in San Saba. With a great team effort, the Cowgirls did just enough as Mason’s 50 points edged the host Lady Dillos of San Saba High School’s 54 points to win the district meet as both schools qualified for the upcoming regional meet with state championship aspirations.
