Raymond (Ray) Don Everett rode off on his last adventure August 13, 2020; surrounded by his wife, daughters, and grandchildren who were the loves of his life. He was born at home, delivered by his grandma, Susie Morris, on February 27, 1950, in Fort Davis, Texas. The third of seven children belonging to Otto (Bud) Everett and Pauline Morris Everett. Raised on ranches in West Texas and New Mexico he left school with a GED at 16 and went to work.
