Astronomers to present program on US/Chilean Observatory
Hill Country Astronomers (HCA) will meet at 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 2, in the HEB Activity Room at Hill Country University Center in Fredericksburg. HCA president Bruce Barton will present a program on Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO), a 60+-year collaboration between the United States and Chile. Barton will discuss its history, major discoveries and current efforts.
