Texas Farm Bureau urges ATV safety
With the general hunting season for white-tailed deer underway, landowners and hunters are reminded to use caution on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). “Many Texans have died in ATV-related accidents,” Will Frey, Mason County Farm Bureau president, said. “ATVing is a popular way to get around the farm, ranch or deer lease, but that convenience also comes with a certain risk.” There are about 650 deaths and 100,000 injuries each year involving ATVs, according to the U.S.
