Vernon August Henry Evers or “Cowboy” passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2019, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 95. He was born on August 27, 1923, in Castell, TX, to Frank Joseph and Minnie (Heine) Evers, the fourth of four children, a descendant of German settlers.
