VFW Selects Essay Winners

The essays are in and our judging team has selected winners of the Jr. Hi Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest and the Voice of Democracy contest for high school. We received 11 entries and our judges decided that each entry was a winner as well and received $50 and the two winners received $200 each for their efforts and writing skills. The winner of the Patriot’s Pen contest was an 8th grader by the name of Karli Bauer and the high school entry was written by a Puncher whose name is Zach Nolan ...
