Evelyn Claire Spaulding entered this world August 23, 2007. She was a joy to my wife and I. She was a very good baby that cried very little and a joy to our home. As the terrible two’s came she was a busy little girl that got into everything in our house. All cabinets and drawers had to be locked and I even had to devise a way to lock the trash receptacle. She loved the dog food bowl and water.
Evelyn became active drawing pictures, sewing and making doll clothes. She loved her Kindle notebook and spent time playing games and watching U Tubes. Her interests were many, from prehistoric creatures to littlest pet shop small figures.
She loved her cousins and aunts and uncles and they loved her in return. She did love school and her teachers and tried to be a friend to them all.
Her life was too short and she will be missed by many. Jesus bless our baby and take care of her.
Evelyn is survived by her grandfather (who was a father to her) Chester Spaulding, Jr., aunts and uncles: Mark Spaulding, Chester Spaulding IIIL Liedy Spaulding, Shana Evans and Randy Evans, her father Gordon Spaulding, two brothers Carter Evans and Zach Evans, a sister Tabatha Evans, her cousins Alexa, Chase, Madison, Santiago, Jacob and Adriele and many other cousins and family members. She was preceded in death by her grandmother (who was a mother to her) Janette Spaulding.
A Memorial Service for Evelyn will be held on Thursday, September 13, at 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mason.
