The Punchers became Area Champs last Saturday after beating Port Aransas in a baseball marathon. The team played a 2 of 3 game series vs. Port A. In the first game, it was a back and forth affair as the game lasted 4 hours going into 5 extra innings. In the end, the Punchers came out on top 8-7 in the bottom of the 12th scoring on a pass ball. In game 2, it was yet another back and forth affair.
