Bobbie Ruth Bass was born February 13, 1931, in Anna, Texas, to Roby and Elkanah Bass. When Bobbie was 3 years old her mother Elkanah passed away, leaving 6 children. A year later Roby married Julia Barton. Bobbie passed away on Friday, April 6, at the age of 87 at her home in Mason.
