James Weldon “Jim” Tucker, age 76, of Mason, Texas passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas. James was born March 30, 1941, in Newgulf, Texas to Weldon Norvell Tucker & Annie Alta (Thomason) Tucker. He graduated from the San Marcos Military Academy in 1960, where he learned to love guns and shooting and he attended Sam Houston University for 2 years. He married Carol Hodges on May 17, 1969, in Houston.
