The MHS Pioneers students have been planning and working on a water conservation project where a Rainwater Harvesting System will be implemented to collect rainwater from the junior high gym for use in irrigating the band practice field. The students have made a presentation to our local Lion’s Club and they also did a community wide presentation on May 24th. They will be presenting to the Hickory Underground Water District during the summer and the Riata Service Organization in the fall.
