After falling behind in the first quarter 9-16 the Punchers had to play catch up for the rest of the game. The Bearkats jumped out to an early lead with some good shooting that would come and go as the game went on. Hawley lost their touch from the field and the Punchers' defense picked up along with their offense as the half would close out with Mason trailing 24-27.
