Mason Clinches District Title with 48-0 Shutout of Sabinal
The game last Friday between the Mason Punchers and the Sabinal Yellowjackets started with a 90-yard kickoff return touchdown by Haddon Hudson. It was an omen for the rest of the rather lopsided game. After Fernando Torres added the PAT, the clock still had 11:58 left in the first quarter of play and a score of 7-0. Sabinal didn't hold on to the ball for long after Mason's kick.
