Bob Ellis Robert Lynn (Bob) Ellis was born August 26, 1944, in Tucumcari, N.M. to Elmo and Jimmie Holt Ellis. The family moved to South Houston where Bob attended school and graduated from South Houston High School in 1962. He graduated from San Jacinto Jr. College in 1965 and Angelo State University in 1967. He married Elizabeth Loeffler October 7, 1967, in Mason, Texas.
