The Mighty Mason Puncher Band competed in the Region 7 UIL Marching Band Contest this past weekend in Early and came away with the highest rating possible. All three judges gave the band a division 1 rating. "The judges were very complimentary of the kids," Mr. Halamicek said. "We had some minor flaws and issues, but overall I thought the kids did a great job!" This year the band is allowed to continue competing for a chance to go to the State Marching Contest.
