Chess Tournament Coming to Llano This Weekend

Llano is known for many things, team roping, barrel racing, deer hunting, some of the best BBQ in Texas, blue bonnets, Enchanted Rock, and one of the last truly wild rivers in Texas. But thanks to 11-year-old CJ Ares, it may soon have another activity that is not a common topic in the area of cowboys and Friday Night Lights. We sat down and talked to CJ over the phone on Sunday afternoon before he went to his weekly chess club meeting at First Presbyterian Church.
