Three big happenings occur at Packsaddle this month! First is our Follett Book Fair starting October 9 – 17. Don’t miss all the fun, prizes, and books to purchase. Research shows that reading to a child, or a child reading independently at home, significantly improves literacy skills and helps develop life-long learning. Your participation in the Book Fair not only shows your commitment to these goals but also allows the school to receive free books for the Library!

Our second big event is Open House on October 15 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. This is a great way to get to know your child’s teacher, learn about what’s going on, and attend the Book Fair, which will open during Open House.

Lastly is our Fall Festival on October 24 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. This is an exciting evening event for the kids, as a celebration of all that represents fall. Enjoy a Bounce House, Pumpkin Golf, and bingo, as well as a costume contest. Booths will include a variety of games, as well as cupcake walk, face-painting tattoos, colored hair, and a lollipop tree. To top it all off, have your picture taken at the Packsaddle Photo Booth to keep those memories of a grand time!
