Sheriff Blackburn Promotes Llano County Police Officers at Commissioners Meeting
At Monday’s Commissioners Court meeting, Sheriff Bill Blackburn recognized Llano County Police Officers for their promotions: Deputy Ashley, Les Hartman and John Gillespie were promoted from Deputy to Corporal. Cassie VFD Fire Chief, Derick Curtis, came to the meeting of the Llano Commissioners Court last Monday to present awards to Dispatchers Veronica White and Jamie Christopher for their role in a successful rescue of a person in distress on Lake Buchanan. Chief Curtis also recognized Llano County’s then Corporal Tim McLean for his role in the rescue.
