City Council to Hold Public Hearing on Budget
The City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 3 on the proposed 2019-2020 City Budget. They are proposing a tax rate of $0.68737 per $100. The proposed budget will raise more total taxes than last year’s budget by $29,938.44. That is a three percent increase. Of that amount, $16,434 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the roll this year. Javier Reyes outlined the current health plan for the City of Llano employees.
