What’s All the Buzz? Native Bees of Texas
The Fredericksburg Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas invites all members of the community to hear the free presentation, “What’s All the Buzz? Native Bees of Texas”, by Jessica Beckham, Ph.D. It may be surprising to learn that the familiar honeybee is an introduced species in the Americas. Hives crossed the ocean with New England colonists only a few 100 years ago.
