It all began June 1, 2009— the Fuelish Fiber Friends. The knitting group celebrated their 10 year anniversary on Monday, June 3.

It began with a sign in the Llano Post Office inviting anyone who wanted to knit (or learn how) to meet in the FUEL Coffee House. Four ladies attended that first session on June 1, 2009. By the second week, the number had doubled. And, now, 10 years later, you can walk into FUEL on any Monday afternoon and find it full of knitters and crocheters, bright colors of yarn spread across the tables, needles and hooks clicking away…and lots of laughter!
