City Council Urges FEMA to Update Maps
On Monday, June 3 Cristy Vaught discussed action regarding FEMA floodplain maps with City Council. According to Vaught, FEMA does not want to update the maps for all of Llano County. The map does not reflect current tributaries. “We just want something accurate,” stated Vaught. She suggested that the council send a letter to FEMA in support of the Commissioners Court.
