2900 Bridge: Reunited at Last
Among those pictured are Kingsland/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce President Susan Patton, Precinct 2 County Commissioner Linda Raschke, State Representative Andrew Murr, U.S. Representative Roger Williams, U.S. Senator John Cornyn, Chairman of Texas Transportation Commission J. Bruce Bugg, Jr., U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, Horseshoe Bay Mayor Steve Jordan, and Llano County Judge Ron Cunningham. Federal, state, and local leaders, including firefighters, police officers, and more, joined in the ribbon cutting, marking the opening of the newly built RM 2900 Bridge on Friday, May 24, 2019.
In a grand symbol of reunification, officials with the Texas Department of Transportation, along with federal, state and local leaders from Llano County, followed fire trucks from each side of the Llano River arm of Lake LBJ and met in the middle of the new RM 2900 bridge for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, May 24.
