A Time of Struggle
The Llano High softball team, in Boerne, March 26, suffered its third one-run loss in district play and then was beaten, 8-3, against Fredericksburg, March 29. The Lady Jackets headed into the April 2 game at Wimberley with a 1-4 record at the halfway point of 28-4A play—14-6 overall. Boerne 11, LHS 10 “Ten ought to be enough,” said Head Coach, Beau Burnett, “but Boerne’s lineup is very dangerous—strong hitters and speed.” Llano opened with a 4-0 lead.
