We buried our mother, Fran Merritt, on Saturday. Her remains were placed right where they belong for eternity – next to Dad, W.F. ‘Skeeter’ Merritt, her husband of 61 years, and in the city cemetery of the favorite place Fran and Skeeter ever lived, the friendly and loving community of Llano, Texas.
