Joe Neal Sawyer
Joe Neal Sawyer, World War II veteran, died at his home in Blanco, on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Mr. Sawyer was born on Jan. 6, 1924 in Cherokee, to Ethel (Mayes) and William Claude Sawyer. He was a graduate of Cherokee High School and after graduation, entered the U.S. Army serving in the medical corps.
