Llano ISD board extends contract of Superintendent Mac Edwards

Superintendent Mac Edwards received a one-year contract extension from the Llano ISD board of trustees. After a closed session to evaluate Edwards’ contract at the Jan. 22 school board meeting, board members voted to extend it for one year and authorize the board president to execute the contract. It has been the board’s policy to keep a superintendent on a three-year contract if they are happy with his work. Edwards is in his first year as LISD superintendent.
