On Dec. 29, 2017 Verna Mae Lewis departed this life at her home on Lake Buchanan, surrounded by her children. She was born May 6, 1929 in Lovell, Wyoming to Ralph Murphy Smith and Marie Margaret (Jensen) Smith. She moved to Southern California as an infant and spent her childhood and most of her adult life there.
