Taking the Polar Bear Plunge in the Llano River at the Castell Slab. Those taking the plunge, in no order, are Alison Culpepper, Lee Butcher, Glenn Hadeler, Briley Mitchell, Linda Briant, Chelsey Johanson and one additional person.

Well the weather outside is frightful, staying in is so delightful. And it snowed in Llano on New Year’s Eve. A blast of frigid air blew in on Sunday causing many to celebrate the beginning of 2018 in the comfort of their own homes. For those that chose to go out, they were greeted with a dusting of snow around 9 p.m.
