Snow greets Llano as 2018 begins

Frigid winter weather greeted Llano County as 2018 began. The high for New Year’s Day was 32 degrees Fahrenheit in Llano, which was 5 degrees below the low on the same day one year ago. The high was 58 and the low was 37 as 2017 greeted Llano, compared to 32 and 23 this year. Though it was cold Monday, the low of 23 was not a record for that day.
