The Llano Special Olympians competed in a three-day Area 13 Bowling Competition with over 1,300 athletes in Austin from Nov. 3-5. Llano was well represented with nine students participating in every age group. The athletes trained for two months beginning in September. This year the Yellow Jacket team took home four gold medals from Selena Blaise, James Burke, Jake Yocum, and Angelo Crofts. Bronze medals were earned by Mary Shaffer, Mitch Dunn, Landon Larson and Meloni Lamar.
