FREDERICKSBURG—Nic George made it two consecutive fine races with a second-place finish in the Billies Cross Country Invitational. A good and appropriate showing—on the second day of autumn. “I tried to keep up with Austin Zirkel of Medina,” Nic said, “but I should have decided sooner, because the gap was too big to make up.
