Originally a scientist, the art of glass is now Sheri Zoch’s passion

You don’t have to be a scientist to create art from glass, but you can be. Llano’s Sheri Zoch, who has owned and operated The Glass Menagerie for about two and a half years, fell into the art of glass while searching for something to exercise the creative part of her brain. After taking about 15 classes in a variety of art mediums, from drawing to paper making to painting and more, Zoch took a class on glass. “I took that one (class) and it blew my mind,” she said.
