Surprise, No Shock: Slaughter Resigns

For a half decade that included no winning seasons on the varsity gridiron, there were some interesting times and moments—orchestrated by Head Coach Craig Slaughter. His time in Llano, though, is over. Slaughter will become defensive coordinator at Wall, a school which writes a new chapter on winning every autumn. “This was best for me and my family,” he told me, June 2, not long after his resignation became public.
