It started in 1919, 98 years ago, and every year since then except for war years and a flood, the Llano Open Pro Rodeo has taken place the first weekend in June. Cowboys and cowgirls have come to Llano for roping, barrel racing, bronc and bull riding, rodeo royalty, and good clean family fun.
