Honoring Rangers
Members of the Albert Sidney Johnston Chapter of the Sons of the Republic of Texas fire this cannon during a salute on Saturday to honor 12 Texas Rangers who are buried in Bluffton Cemetery. The event, which honored the Rangers, was put on by the Former Texas Rangers Foundation, Llano County Historical Commission and the Bluffton Cemetery Association. It included speakers, musket and cannon salutes, and the unveiling of Texas Ranger Crosses at each of the graves.
