Streets are the big issue in bond election
Problems with streets such as Brown, pictured above, with many potholes and cracks, can be seen all over Llano. The Proposition 1 bond on Saturday’s municipal election ballot aims to fix these problems.

Llano’s crumbling streets could get a complete makeover if voters approve a $4.785 million bond measure in Saturday’s municipal election. Also on Saturday’s municipal ballot is a $500,000 bond election to fix the swimming pool and give money to parks, in addition to a local option election which would allow the sale of all alcoholic beverages, including mixed beverages. Early voting ended Tuesday on the three measures on the municipal election ballot.
