Rangers honored at Tow Cemetery

On Saturday, March 18, four men buried in the Tow Cemetery in Llano County were recognized by the Former Texas Rangers Association for their ranger duties in the Frontier Battalions in Llano County during the end of the Civil War. At the time the men volunteered, they had no idea they would ever be granted the privilege of Ranger status, but in later years, in recognition of their service, they earned the title.
