Ceremony to honor fallen Ranger 30 years after tragedy
A ceremony to honor the late Texas Ranger Stan Guffey will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21. Guffey was killed 30 years ago in the line of duty while rescuing a 2-year-old kidnapping victim in Horseshoe Bay. The Texas Ranger Association Foundation, in conjunction with the Texas Department of Public Safety and the City of Horseshoe Bay, are hosting the ceremony.
