Llano splash pad could be named after large donor
A hefty donation to the Llano splash pad could garner someone naming rights. At Monday’s meeting, the city council approved a request from the Llano Parks Project organization to allow naming rights of the splash pad if someone donates at least $150,000 to the project. The council approved the measure with a 3-1 vote, with councilman Glenn Conner voting against it. Julie Leverett, with the parks project, told the council the project is expected to cost between $270,000 and $300,000.
