Ashley Torres of Llano is a good citizen and has the certificate to prove it. Ashley is a 5-year old, 92-pound silver pit bull and a favorite visitor among residents of local senior citizen homes. Unfortunately, Ashley’s service to the community may soon come to an end due to a needed surgery. “She just loved being around people,” said Barbara Torres, who trained Ashley and her Doberman, Ty, to be service dogs.
