BANDERA — The Llano Jackets will forever be indebted to the gridiron gods for not deciding 24 minutes of a high school football game was plenty, when they made up the rules 150 years ago — give or take a few months. The struggling (charitable) Jackets got a chance for vindication, a makeover. It was like Monet getting the lilies right; or the Wright Brothers, the wings; or Eisenhower, Normandy.
